Consumer Duty Dashboard

AI powered tool designed to help banks, financial institutions and asset management funds keep track of and fullfill their consumer obligations as mandated by the Consumer duty guidelines set by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority).

Data from various streams can be plugged into the tool for analysis according to an pre-defined index. The model also pro-actively generates summaries, predicts events and trends based on trained data.

Dark mode

While designing the dashboard, a number of team members proposed that I included a dark mode, compatiable with system-level UI triggers. This offered advantages such as reduced eye strain, improved battery life (for non-OLED devices), and better readability in low-light conditions. It also catered to personal aesthetic preferences that my team members expressed.

To do this, I used the pallete from the 'light mode and subsequently derived a set of darker colours while ensuring that text and other content remained readable against the darker elements and the background.

I also tried to reduce screen glare as much as possible by using muted colors and avoiding overly bright or harsh elements; all of which combined with a consistent design language helped provided our users with an alternative viewing experience.

Inventory tracking & management

A tool that I designed to create, manage and track inventrory procurement agreements for hospitals. I had a lot of fun working with is client (identity hidden) because of the sheer scale of their operations and their gloabal reach. It was a vibrant, diverse group with a lot of stakeholder - managing various priorities as the lead designer on the project.

The bonus for me was working with their very well-defined brand identity that I adapted for desktop and touch-screen devices. This included a custom build and bespoke components that would work seamlessly with other internal client tools, plugging in data and inventory detail from various feeds and showcasing them in a user-friendly format.
